Draymond Green's mom, Mary Babers, didn't hold back in calling out the referees officiating Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies. Her son was ejected for a rather soft Flagrant 2 call, and sure enough, she found it “ridiculous.”

The Warriors vet was thrown out of the contest after grabbing Brandon Clarke on his jersey late in the second quarter. It was quite a dangerous play given that the Grizzlies forward was airborne, but it's debatable if the foul was excessive and warranted a Flagrant 2.

After watching the events unfold, Mrs. Babers took to Twitter to share her dismay. She defended that it was in no way on purpose, highlighting that the Grizzlies youngster would have fallen hard if it was a blatant pull from his Warriors son. To be fair, Green tried to slow down the fall of Clarke.

“I still can’t believe that CALL on Draymond Green! Trying to do the right thing! If that was blatant his face would have hit the floor!” Green's mom wrote before adding the hashtag “#REFSSUCK.”

Sure enough, it's not only Mary Babers who found the call controversial. Even Stephen Curry called it “f****ng crazy” that Draymond Green was called for a Flagrant 2. The Warriors thought it would be called a Flagrant 1 at most since it can be deemed as an unnecessary grab and pull, so imagine their surprise when their defensive anchor was ejected.

Unfortunately, no word or action could have overturned the decision.
