Rookie Jordan Bell added to his series of wild anecdotes from his first season in the league, getting an unexpected guest in his car in Hall of Famer Bill Walton, who was present when the Golden State Warriors took down the Los Angeles Lakers 117-106 on Wednesday night.

Walton wasn't on the call, as he was during a Valentine's Day matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, but rather as a fan of the game — now spotted by Bell outside Oracle Arena.

“Super random,” said Bell in his Snapchat video. “I see Bill Walton walking, I said ‘what's up?', he said ‘can you give me a ride to my hotel,' I said ‘sure!'

This was yet another strange caveat in a game that didn't feature three of the Warriors' four All-Stars, playing without Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green — giving plenty of other players the chance to see the court.

Walton, the resident hippie of the NBA, was seen by cameras plenty entertained to see this team perform, and even took part in some of the pre-game preparations.

There was nothing accidental, though, in his return to the court after recovering from an ankle injury. In 18 minutes of backup duty to starter Zaza Pachulia, Bell managed to register six points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

Despite the faint run, the rookie big man displayed his potential by putting up numbers, albeit small in amount, across the board. Unfortunately, his postgame Uber-like assist on the Hall of Fame center won't count on his totals.
