The Golden State Warriors will not have their main source of firepower with Kevin Durant listed as out with soreness in his ribs, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Luckily the team will get back some of the defensive mettle as forwards Draymond Green and David West are set to return tonight against the Sacramento Kings, according to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Green was a late scratch against the Los Angeles Lakers, with the Warriors already short of their All-Star backcourt of Stephen Curry (sprained right ankle) and Klay Thompson (fractured right thumb).

West has missed the team's last five games with a cyst on his right arm. His return tonight should prove a major defensive boost for the second unit.

Golden State got rookie forward Jordan Bell back against the Lakers on Wednesday, as the team has struggled to keep healthy bodies on the court during this stretch of the season.

The team is trying to prioritize health over any seeding at this point of the season, still holding a healthy 10-game lead over the Portland Trail Blazers, enough to keep them at bay until the season ends in mid-April.
