Klay Thompson is thrilled about the progress he's been making as the Golden State Warriors anticipate his much-awaited NBA return.
After two and a half years of being sidelined, Klay Thompson is finally edging closer to making his Warriors comeback this season.
Providing the latest update on his progress, a confident Thompson revealed that he has now began playing “3-on-3” basketball.
“I'm feeling great,” Thompson said during ESPN's broadcast of the Warriors' game against the New Orleans Pelicans via NBC Sports. “Just working every day like I have been the last two years and I'm playing 3-on-3 and just getting back into the tip-top game shape.”

It can be recalled that Thompson, a key figure in the Warriors' failed championship run in 2019, tore his ACL in the third quarter of Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors that same year.
As expected, the five-time NBA All-Star bluntly admitted that “winning” has been one of the things he has really missed, having been out of action for quite some time now.
“I really miss the winning,” Thompson confessed. “I miss playing in front of the fans and then just playing basketball. I really love what I do, I always have since I was a kid. I think these last two years have given me a great sense of appreciation for the work it takes to be great. And my story is still being written, so I'm not satisfied with where my career is at. I still have many more chapters to write.”
