Very few people can say that they were a first-hand witness to Stephen Curry's quest to become the GOAT shooter. One of them is Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, who has been teammates with Curry for many years now.
On Wednesday, Thompson came out with an emotional congratulatory message for his basketball brother after Curry broke the record for the most career three-pointers in NBA history (h/t Warriors on NBCS on Twitter):
Congrats from one Splash Bro to the other 💦

Thompson raved about how Curry has and continues to revolutionize the game as we know it. Klay also boasted about having a front-row seat to witness Curry's greatness on the Warriors—an opportunity that Thompson clearly cherishes. In true Klay Thompson fashion, he also made sure to send a bit of a shoutout to all of Steph's haters out there. At this point, there really isn't much of them around anymore.
It did not end there for the Warriors shooting guard, though. Thompson also had a warning to the rest of the NBA now that he's set to rejoin his Splash Brother on the court very soon. Thompson is closing in on his much-awaited comeback after two years on the shelf and once he returns, he and Steph are definitely going to make it rain again.
