Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson is averaging 13.8 points on 35.7 percent shooting from both the field and beyond the 3-point line in 20.8 minutes per game since returning to the court. While he hasn't shot the ball all that well in four games, the star is optimistic and had a message Warriors fans should be excited about even after Sunday's ugly loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“I think I'm playing great. I'm getting great looks. I had some really good looks tonight. … So, although I'm not shooting the ball as well as I want, I'm going to keep shooting because that's what I'm best at,” Thompson told ClutchPoints.

The five-time All-Star hasn't had that breakout game yet, and the minutes restriction could be playing a role in that. He has mentioned multiple times that he thinks about it. That could be forcing the Warriors sharpshooter to rush things a bit. But when you are as good a shooter as Thompson, a big night is bound to happen.

Thompson hasn't had the opportunity to play with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green at the same time. Now, because of injuries, the world will have to wait a little while longer for that reunion. When all three of them share the court, things will start to get better for Thompson. He can be in his normal role and start working on their chemistry.
