As long as the Golden State Warriors want Klay Thompson, he will be happy to stay. That's according to his father Mychal Thompson who reiterated that Klay is satisfied with how things are in the Bay.

Speaking to Tim Kawakami of The Ahletic, Mychal hasn't changed his stance about his son re-signing with the Warriors. Klay is eligible to sign a five-year max contract with the Dubs worth $190 million.

“As long as his employers want him,” Mychal Thompson said on Klay staying in Golden Stay. “He’s very happy there, very content there. He’s not looking to move out of the neighborhood that he’s in.”

The Warriors are heading to their fifth straight NBA Finals appearance, and Klay has undoubtedly played a huge role in their dominance. Although he is often considered as the third or fourth option in the Dubs' rotation, his ability to go hot from distance anytime has saved the team in multiple occasions.

Klay has career averages of 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He is also a career 40.2 percent shooter from 3-point distance. This year, Thompson was named to his first ever NBA All-Defensive Team — a proof that the 29-year-old sharpshooter impacts the Warriors not only on the offensive end.

The five-time All-Star has repeatedly said that he wants to stay in Golden State, and all signs suggest that he's not going anywhere.
