Nick Young is ready for a start with his new team, but think twice if you believe he is changing his habits to fit into this championship equation.

The volume shooter will keep his ways coming into this roster and will let it fly just as his head coach and teammates have stressed they'd like him to do.

When asked by Lance Fresh of Bleacher Report if he was open from his favorite open spot with teammates Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant as well, if he'd take that shot or pass to one of them, Young gave the swaggiest answer possible.

“Shoot that muthaf**ka, then hit both of them with: “My bad y'all, I didn't see y'all open. I thought the clock ran out” [laughs].”

Young has been known to be an avid-shot taker, but that could prove to be a problem in an offense that prides itself on taking the best shot available, rather than finding a go-to shooter.

While Swaggy P will have the ultimate green light, he will also be forced to defer to some of his teammates from time to time in order to keep the chemistry in a good state.

A 10-year veteran, Young shot a blistering 40.4 percent from beyond the arc last season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
