The Golden State Warriors are going to be shorthanded on Friday when they visit the Washington Wizards, as their backup point guard, Shaun Livingston, will attend the funeral of Devin Harris' brother, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

It can be recalled that the sibling of the Dallas Mavericks guard, Bruce, tragically died last Thursday in a car crash. The vehicle he was riding with a friend was plowed into from behind, resulting in the car catching fire. He was rushed to a hospital but died from the injuries he suffered.

Livingston and Harris have never been teammates in the NBA, but come from the same draft class back in 2004. They have since become good friends, and maintained their closeness, despite playing for different teams. The Warriors guard's gesture proves just that, and shows what kind of a person he is, by giving his support to Harris when he needs it the most.

Nick Young could receive a slight bump in his minutes on the night, and may even be tasked to run the point guard duties together with Patrick McCaw off the bench in some stretches. Livingston is expected to be available for the Dubs in their next game, which will be against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.
