Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter of all-time, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have off-days. The Golden State Warriors star has had many off-shooting nights from deep in his career. However, his Game 5 performance in the Finals is quite easily the worst shooting performance of his career.
During the entirety of the Warriors' Game 5 win against the Celtics in the NBA Finals, Stephen Curry did not make a single three-point shot. Yes, you read that right. If you're wondering how rare it is for Curry to not make a single three, consider these facts. This is the first time in Stephen Curry's playoff career that he failed to make a single three-point shot.
This is also the first time since November of 2018 that Stephen Curry has failed to hit a three in an official NBA game. Prior to this game, Curry had 233 consecutive games where he made even just one three. Considering how good the Warriors star is at shooting, seeing him clank nine threes during the game was utterly bizarre. (via Kirk Goldsberry)

Stephen Curry's incredible record-breaking streak of 233 consecutive games with at least 1 3PM is now over

Curry's atrocious shooting was one of the bizarre outliers of Game 5. Normally automatic from any range, the Warriors star just couldn't get anything going from beyond the arc. He also struggled shooting from the mid-range, which was even more strange. However, his improved inside touch and ball distribution meant he still had an impact on the court.
With Curry struggling from the outside, it was up to the rest of the Warriors to carry the load. They delivered big-time, with Andrew Wiggins once again leading the charge on offense and defense. Now, the Dubs head into Game 6 in Boston carrying a 3-2 lead. They'll have a chance at capturing their first title since 2018.
