At the moment, there are plenty of questions surrounding the Golden State Warriors' ability to generate offense outside of relying on Stephen Curry. Curry, as one would expect, has been phenomenal, scoring 30 or more on six different occasions while breaching 40 on two of those games. But the supporting cast has been lacking, with Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins, two of the main scoring weapons the Warriors expect to provide Curry with some help, have been well below par to start the year.

Thompson, in particular, has fallen prey to familiar inefficiencies from the field, while Wiggins, the player many thought was the Warriors' second-best player in their run to the championship in 2022, been woeful, looking lethargic out on the court in addition to posting the worst numbers of his career thus far (he's been shooting 15.4 percent from deep in 11 games).

But at the end of the day, Stephen Curry and the Warriors know that they have to be better as a unit and be unafraid to mix up their tactics, all the while remaining composed in the face of adversity especially when it's still early in the season.

“There's always been a certain approach to guarding us. For years you know where attention is going to be. [But] whatever the case is we have to make adjustments. We can't just keep doing the same thing and expect a different result,” Curry said, per Kendra Andrews of ESPN. “It's not a panic or anything. It's just a matter of getting a little smarter and a little bit more organized.”

Perhaps some of those adjustments the Warriors can make can begin with taking better shots, as Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins, among others, have displayed a tendency to take some tough shots. Or perhaps the Warriors can give more minutes to youngsters such as Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis, two high-activity guys, to infuse the veteran team with more youthful verve that could, perhaps, spark a bit of a turnaround after three straight losses.

But Stephen Curry and the Warriors are no strangers to adversity, so expect them to figure it out sooner than later, especially when they have already shown flashes of being a solid contending team to begin the campaign.
