Stephen Curry promised a hefty check for the city of Cleveland based on his All-Star Game performance. The Golden State Warriors point guard made sure it was bigger than anyone could have imagined by the end of the game.
Before the game, the Warriors star pledged $1,000 for each point, $3,000 for each triple and $10,000 if he won the All-Star Game MVP award:
Stephen Curry plans to raise money for the Cleveland Metro School District through his #NBAAllStar stats:
• $1,000 for every point
• $3,000 for every 3-pointer

While he was bound to drop a few dozen grand, and maybe even take the MVP award for the first time in his NBA career, nobody could have possibly predicted him to breach six figures.
But the Warriors star did exactly that. Curry dropped an insane 50 points with 16 3-pointers, the most triples in NBA All-Star Game history and just two points shy of Anthony Davis' all-time scoring record of 52 set in 2017. That comes out to a grand total of $108,000 donated to the Cleveland Metro School District.

While the boos were probably just in good fun in honor of the epic rivalry between the Warriors and Cavs throughout the years, it's awesome that Stephen Curry still put on a show for all the fans in attendance.
