Injured Golden State Warriors superstar Klay Thompson was once again in street clothes as he made his way to Chase Center to support his team against the Washington Wizards on Friday. However, his preferred look for the evening certainly gave his fellow Splash Brother Stephen Curry a good chuckle.
The two-time NBA MVP took to Instagram to playfully mock Thompson, who looked like he was about to hop aboard and steer a ship rather than attend a basketball game.
The 31-year-old Warriors sharpshooter did look the part since he wore a striped shirt, white pants, and of course, some boat shoes to complete his nautical-inspired ensemble.
Curry couldn't help himself and even sang “I'm On A Boat” by The Lonely Island as he showed off Klay's drip for the game. Thompson went along with it and even jived with Steph's singing. Here's the hilarious clip.

Jokes aside, Klay Thompson has indeed been a sight for sore eyes for the struggling Warriors this season. Despite not being able to play for the second year in a row due to an ACL injury, his presence is always appreciated in that locker room. Win or lose, his Warriors teammates know the five-time All-Star will always be there to give off sound advice.
