Stephen Curry still doesn't know how exactly he hurt his hand, which caused him to miss the Golden State Warriors' last game against the Sacramento Kings on Monday night.

He said the injury felt as though he had jammed his ring finger when he was going for a steal, according to Melissa Rohlin of the San Jose Mercury News.

“It just blew up overnight,” Curry said of the swelling in his finger, noting it's gone down a bit, but it's still painful. “Hopefully by tomorrow the swelling will be gone and I'll be able to deal with the pain and just play.”

Curry said there's really no way to protect his hand while he's playing, still suffering the aftereffects of a right-hand contusion that took place against the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday.

The Warriors are also in danger to play their fourth straight game without Kevin Durant, who made an appearance against his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, but went right back to the sidelines the following game after finding swelling coming from inside the ankle.

“I probably should’ve told coach [Kerr] how I was really feeling,” Durant admitted, according to Logan Murdock of the San Jose Mercury News. “I wanted to play, I wanted to be out there. It’s not a smart move, especially with an ankle, which can get worse.”

Golden State is fresh off a loss to the Sacramento Kings, now embarking on a six-game road trip, making its first stop against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday before taking on the East Coast for the next two weeks.
