Stephen Curry is the type of guy who turns around and celebrates his shot before it actually goes in, so it’s not entirely surprising to hear the Golden State Warriors guard speak with extreme confidence despite the Houston Rockets giving the defending champions a fight they’ve never had in the first two rounds of the playoffs.

According to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, Curry said that the Warriors are feeling excited rather than worried following a 95-92 loss to Houston in Game 4 of the series on Tuesday.

After struggling with his shot in the first two games of the series, Curry has recovered his touch from the field, as he has scored 35 and 28 points in Games 3 and 4, respectively. However, the Warriors’ backs are sort of against the wall, considering that they’re headed to a crucial Game 5 on the road just after surrendering the momentum to the Rockets. In addition to that, the Warriors could also be without a pair of key players in Andre Iguodala and Klay Thompson this Thursday with both players deemed as questionable due to each nursing a knee injury.

Even if Iguodala and Thompson get ruled out for Game 5, the Warriors still have enough firepower to keep in step with Houston with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant leading the way.

Curry is averaging 24.4 points in the playoffs, while Durant is putting up 29.1 points for the Warriors, who, for the first time in these playoffs, have lost twice in a round.
