Stephen Curry inched closer to Ray Allen's all-time record for three-pointers on Saturday during the Golden State Warriors matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Dubs fell to the Sixers, 102-93, but the former back-to-back MVP is now just seven triples away from setting the record for most three-pointers made.

Curry's next chance to make history is on Monday when the Warriors face off against the Indiana Pacers. With the Dubs scheduled for a back-to-back set on Monday and Tuesday, there was some doubt as to Steph's playing status against Indiana. As it is, however, it looks like Dubs coach Steve Kerr intends to play Curry on Monday:

As the above report states, the Warriors head to Madison Square Garden on Tuesday to battle the New York Knicks. It's only fitting that Curry is able to set the record in arguably the most iconic arena in all of sport and right now, it sounds like this is going to be the case.

Steph is still seven triples away from setting this historic record and right now, the Warriors superstar is averaging 5.4 triples per game. Based on the numbers, Curry has to play in Indiana for him to be able to set the record in MSG the following night.

Whatever happens, though, what we can say for sure is that Curry is now just days away from further establishing himself as the GOAT shooter. Is there still any doubt at this point?
