For NBA players, their ultimate goal is to play at a high level for many years, and win a title along the way. Some even make a lot of sacrifices to give themselves a bigger chance of earning a championship ring, which is of the utmost value to them.

With what it takes to win it all in the league, it’s very understandable if players who have won at least one title would want to wear their ring all the time. However, for Stephen Curry, he admitted recently that he has only worn the ring he won in 2015 only thrice, via Anthony Slater of The Mercury News.

It may seem like the Golden State Warriors star guard sounded disrespectful to the piece of jewelry most players covet, but he may have just been honest. The rings are way bigger than regular ones, and it could be that it takes on more than half of his finger, which makes it uncomfortable to wear.

That may be the case, but it also does not mean that Stephen Curry does not value it. It's never easy to win a title, especially with the level of competition in the league. Currently, the former back-to-back MVP has won two championships so far, but with the Dubs' lineup still intact, he may win a few more in the years to come.
