The Golden State Warriors suffered a disappointing loss at the hands of a struggling Orlando Magic side on Tuesday and it is clear that no one on the Dubs was happy about the defeat. After his team lost, 94-90, Draymond Green went off on an epic rant about how the Warriors got their butts whopped. Unsurprisingly, coach Steve Kerr was on the same boat.
The Dubs gave up a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter, much to the chagrin of coach Kerr. In his post-game press conference, the Warriors shot-caller went off as he detailed the myriad of mistakes his team made against Orlando:
“Take away the fouls on 3-point shooters and in my opinion, we win both games,” Kerr said after the Warriors dropped their third straight game on Tuesday night, via Eric He of NBC Sports. “We got to take care of the ball. We can’t set illegal screens. We had a couple of just awful illegal screens where we’re completely out of position… Mental mistakes… There’s got to be a level of discipline, of accountability, of competitive desire.”
The Warriors were still without the injured Stephen Curry in this one, and he isn't going to be back anytime soon. The Dubs are hoping that the greatest shooter of all time returns to their lineup in time for the start of the playoffs but at this point, that's not even a certainty. This team will need to figure out how to win without their superstar point guard — something that they have not been able to do of late:
“I know these are great guys,” Kerr said. “I love these guys in the locker room. Awesome guys. I know they want to win. But we have to learn how to win. Right now we don’t know how to win.”

Draymond Green was less cordial in his post-game rant as he blasted his team for their lackluster effort against the Magic:
“I think we’re playing soft,” Green told Mark Haynes of ClutchPoints. “We’re playing stupid. We’re just not playing good basketball and we’re getting punked.”
“To execute it requires a certain level of physicality. No disrespect to Orlando Magic, but that’s one of the worst teams in the league. We can’t match that with them. So if you can’t match that with them, you’re definitely not going to do it against a great team.”
Green is never the type to keep his feelings to himself and he made sure his message was loud and clear here. Right now, the Warriors just aren't a very good basketball team.
Things only get tougher for the Warriors from here on out. Tuesday's loss in Orlando was the first out of a five-game road trip. They return to action on Wednesday in the second night of a back-to-back set against the top team in the East in the Miami Heat. Golden State will then travel to face the Hawks and the Wizards on Friday and Sunday, respectively, before closing out their road stint against the red-hot Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
The good news for the Dubs is that they head back home after the Grizzlies game. The bad news is that next up for them is the league-best Phoenix Suns on Wednesday to close out the month. To say that it's going to be a tough stretch ahead for the Dubs is an understatement.
