San Francisco, CA – After Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, there are only two games left in the regular season for the Golden State Warriors, and even though they have already clinched a playoff spot, seeding isn't set yet.

These last few games are still important. That's why coach Steve Kerr and the Warriors are taking things very seriously.

“We're going to try and win all three games,” Kerr told ClutchPoints. “Whatever happens with the seeding happens, and we'll go play whoever we're going to play.”

The Warriors will finish the season with back-to-back games against the San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Pelicans, and Klay Thompson, Otto Porter Jr, and Andre Iguodala have yet to play in back-to-back sets this season. Resting them can cost them now, but it can be beneficial later on.

Before the Warriors played the Lakers, Kerr revealed a part of his plan for his veterans who've had significant injuries.

“We could split guys up,” Kerr said. “We haven't decided what we're going to do, but we won't play Klay, Otto, and Andre in the back-to-back, but we could split them up. We haven't decided yet.”

Whatever Kerr decides to do, the Warriors are heading back to the NBA Playoffs after a two-year absence. It's also the first time they're making the postseason since opening the Chase Center.

It has been a 50-win season, and the Warriors had three players selected for the All-Star Game. No matter how these last games end up, it will be a successful campaign for the organization. But they want more.
