The Warriors were getting ready to face-off against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, but James Wiseman's performance in the G League was still a big topic in Steve Kerr's pregame interview.
Wiseman had 18 points and six rebounds in 20 minutes of play. With that, the Warriors head coach happily shared his thoughts with the media about his center before tip-off.
“I'm excited for him. I was so happy to see him the other night,” Kerr told Clutchpoints. “I watched the tape and he just looked happy. It looked like he was excited and moving well. It’s been a long 11 months for him. Thrilled for James that he’s back on the floor. He deserves it.”

James Wiseman will play inside the Chase Center for the first time this season on Sunday. It will be in a Warriors uniform, but it will be with the Dubs' G League affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors uniform. It's a game fans should check out if they want an early look at the player Stephen Curry will be suiting up with soon.
There is no set date for when Wiseman will be called up to make his official season debut, but the time is getting closer by the day. The big man said while he's playing in the G League that he plans to have fun because he's happy to be back on the court.
The Warriors have a four-game homestand ahead of them, and they're getting Draymond Green back on Monday. The team is getting closer to being at full strength, and fans should be very excited.
