Golden State Warriors star DeMarcus Cousins got up and threw down a nasty slam in the face Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma. The brash center surely let the sophomore forward know that he posterized him, as he gave Kuzma a cold stare down shortly after.

Watch the highlight below:

The referees gave Cousins a technical foul for his actions. But you can't blame him for getting excited and taunting Kuzma for his big play.

The Lakers, who are playing without superstar LeBron James due to load management, had been on a massive 19-6 run in the third quarter. Cousins, however, put out the flames quickly with that momentum-swinging play to bring the Warriors within six, 81-75. Golden State shortly made their own run and took an 88-86 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Golden State used that late third quarter momentum to fend off the feisty Lakers as they used a 27-15 fourth quarter to close out Los Angeles. Cousins finished the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists and two blocks in 25 minutes.

While Cousins is still a long way to go from getting back to his All-Star form, seeing him get up for this dunk has to be good news for Steve Kerr and the Warriors. Moreover, this was ultimately the momentum-swinging play of the game for Golden State, as the dunk seemed to have fired up the Warriors, who looked flat until that point of the contest.

Cousins has been surprisingly terrific thus far in his return from a devastating Achilles injury last season. Though his numbers don't really stand out and match up to his career averages, Cousins has seemingly fit in perfectly for the defending champions.
