Golden State Warriors veteran Shaun Livingston enjoyed a little blast from the past, showing some true vintage bounce with a slam dunk over New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Jrue Holiday.

The 33-year-old attacked the rim fearlessly, despite the much younger Holiday waiting in the vicinity to time his block attempt, but to no avail, as the 6-foot-7 Livingston pogo-sticked his way to an easy two:

Livingston put up a season-high 13 points in Wednesday night's 147-140 win over the Pelicans, playing a vital role in his 16 minutes of floor time in a mettle-tester against a hot-shooting New Orleans squad.

The mid-range artist was 4-of-7 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line, keeping the ship afloat until the Warriors received a barrage of 3-point shooting from Stephen Curry to turn things around in the third quarter.

Livingston might be aging and heading for the end of his years in the league, but he showed that he still has some bounce in his step, able to catch elite defenders like Holiday sleeping in transition.

The 33-year-old is averaging 4.6 points, 2.0 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game this season. The Warriors are now up to 31-14 thanks to a six-game winning streak, which has them back atop the Western Conference.
