Perhaps no player is hotter as of late than Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal. After scoring 27 points in the first three quarters of Sunday's matchup between the Wizards and the Golden State Warriors, Beal set a franchise record with 18 straight 25-plus point games.

Beal's streak started on January 20, against the Detroit Pistons when he scored 29 points and in between, the former No. 3 overall pick has scored 40 or more points six times and has two 50-plus point games as well.

Beal has been so good lately that in the month of February, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard is averaging 36.2 points on 48/37/82 shooting splits.

For the season as a whole, the Wizards star is just one of just two players averaging 30 or more points per game as he is putting up 30.3 points, 6.0 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game while shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 33.5 percent from deep.

And while Beal has stepped up his game as of late, a career-year wasn't enough for the 26-year-old to be named as an All-Star — an honor that he has received twice before in his career.

Washington's lack of team success certainly had something to do with Beal's All-Star snub as the Wizards are just 21-37 on the season and currently out of the playoffs.

Even though Beal has done his best to will his team to victory as of late, the Wizards losing ways continue. The team is just 8-9 since Beal's streak started in January and are still 4.5 games behind the eighth-seed Brooklyn Nets in the standings.
