Chicago Bulls fifth-year center Cristiano Felicio was blocked by Washington Wizards journeyman point guard Ish Smith on Tuesday night in the two teams' matchup—making a 10-inch difference between the players' heights all that more impressive on Smith's part.

Smith ascended just at the right moment with two hands coming down on the ball when the 27-year-old Brazilian big man Felicio rose up for a dunk.

Smith, in his first season with the Wizards after spending three years with the Pistons, has to carry the load in the backcourt for D.C. after the Southeast Division club traded two-time All-Star floor general Isaiah Thomas to the Los Angeles Clippers in a three-team deal at the NBA's trade deadline last Thursday (Thomas was later waived). And with another All-Star point guard in John Wall still sidelined for the foreseeable future, the Wizards are left scratching their heads for backcourt assistance.

The Wizards didn't think they'd get the shot-blocking kind of assistance at point guard, however.
