Thomas Bryant has been a surprisingly nice piece for the Wizards during their recent rebuild. He went from a fringe rotational player who struggled to find minutes on the Lakers to a starter on the Wizards, to an essential piece of the Wizards rebuild.

What the Wizards failed to realize is that Bryant is actually a threat to score, even on their own net.

The Wizards were going up against Magic just one day after Christmas, when Thomas Bryant decided that it was a good idea to do a put-back dunk on his own net.

It's good to see that Bryant is crashing the glass, but not to the point where he's scoring on his own net. What's so funny about this clip is that he actually dunks it through the hoop! If the Wizards lose by 2 points or less, I do not want to be Bryant in that locker room.

Even if the put back is a hilarious mistake, Bryant is playing well enough for the rest of the league to take notice.

Bryant averaged 13 points and 7 rebounds per game last year, and started off this season in a similar fashion, with 10 points and 5 rebounds in their first game of the season.

The Wizards have emerged as a legitimate playoff team after the addition of Russell Westbrook. Add Beal, Bertans, Bryant, Rui, and Deni into the mix and this is one of the most dangerous teams in the eastern conference.

Even dunking on your own net doesn't matter when you help a team get to the playoffs. You may see this clip on Shaqtin' a Fool, but don't let that interfere with the evaluation of Thomas Bryant and the rest of the Washington Wizards.
