Before Game 1 of the 2020 World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady shared his support for the Rays on social media.

Take a look:

After a legendary career with the New England Patriots, Tom Brady signed with the Buccaneers to give Tampa Bay its first superstar NFL player in a long time. Now a Florida resident, the six-time champion will be rooting for the Rays to win the World Series over the Dodgers, who are red hot right now after overcoming a 3-1 series lead against the Atlanta Braves in the NLCS.

The Rays have zero championships in franchise history. Hopefully, some of Brady’s magic can rub off on the team and help Kevin Cash’s group defeat the Dodgers for the 2020 World Series trophy.

The Rays defeated the Houston Astros in the ALCS in seven games. Randy Arozarena has hit four home runs for Tampa Bay in the 2020 playoffs already. He’s also batting .321 and has driven in six runs in 28 at-bats.

Baseball fans are hoping for a hard-fought series, while Brady is likely praying the Rays sweep the Dodgers, who have a history of choking on the big stage when it matters the most in the Clayton Kershaw era.
