WrestleMania is one of the few events sports fans can watch during this coronavirus crisis, so people were understandably looking forward to seeing it. However, they had differing opinions on how the biggest wrestling event of the year happened, particularly on Rob Gronkowski who made his WWE debut as the host.
Gronk definitely had the personality to fit in with the sports entertainment brand's biggest stars. And some fans were definitely impressed with how the former New England Patriots star handled himself in front of the camera despite the extraordinary circumstances surrounding WrestleMania.
impressed as hell with Gronk’s work on the prompter

Of course, everyone has different tastes, so it's understandable when some fans were turned off by the way Gronk performed in front of an empty crowd during WrestleMania.
Just turned on Wrestlemania and already want to turn it off because of Gronk

Gronk wore an interesting outfit during his hosting stint. Some found his clothing choice outlandish and hilarious, comparing him to one of the most popular acts of the early 2010s.
Jesus God almighty 🤦🏻♂️

The former Patriots tight end shared hosting responsibilities with WWE star and good friend Mojo Rawley. Some noted that it was like seeing two versions of the same person hosting WrestleMania.

While everyone knew that the dynasty built by Gronk and the Patriots wouldn't last forever, only a few would have predicted that things would happen in such fashion. Bill Simmons, for one, is definitely in awe when he looked back at how the dynasty came to a halt.
Did anyone predict the Pats dynasty would end with a Round 1 loss to Ryan Tannehill, Brady leaving for the Bucs and moving into Jeter’s house in Tampa, and Gronk hosting a no-fan WrestleMania?

Regardless of what you think of Gronk's stint, Whitney McIntosh asked for everyone to appreciate what Gronk did. In a time where everything is uncertain due to the coronavirus, the Gronk is trying to make all sports fans happy by just being his normal, happy, hard-partying self.
Gronk being Gronk at this weird as hell Wrestlemania is the only good thing right now. Let it wash over you. Let Gronk be fully Gronk.

This WrestleMania appearance by Gronk only confirms that Gronk will fully focus on wrestling and put his football days behind him. It will be interesting to see how the next couple of months will pan out in terms of Gronk's stint with the biggest pro wrestling brand on the planet.
