Texas Rangers manager Chris Woodward called Gleyber Torres's recent walk off home run a little league homer and said it only cleared the fence since Yankee Stadium features a short right field porch. This drew a reaction from both Torres and Aaron Boone. However, it also led to a rather savage response from the Yankees' social media team.

Giancarlo Stanton hit an absolute moonshot in the second game of the Rangers and Yankees double-header on Sunday. The ball carried a jaw-dropping 461 feet out of Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees social team shared the video of the homer on Twitter with the following caption:

We are going to guess this is a home run in 30/30 Major League ballparks.

The caption is a clear response to Chris Woodward, who called out the legitimacy of Torres's previous game winning homer. Torres's home run carried just under 370 feet to right field.

“That’s an easy out in 99% of ballparks,” Woodward declared. “He just happened to hit it in a Little League ballpark.”

Those are comments that will not win you any friends in New York. Woodward called out both Yankee Stadium and a player on the team.

Gleyber Torres responded to his remarks.

“I feel like both teams play in the same ballpark and it’s the same dimensions,” Torres said. “I feel good to hit a walk-off homer in the little league ballpark. Happy to win the first game.”

And Giancarlo Stanton's bomb would have got out in any ballpark. The Yankees social media team deserves props for their caption on Stanton's homer.
