The Madden NFL 21 ratings have been revealed and the Dallas Cowboys are stacked. Though they did not make it to the playoffs in the 2019 season, they still had great individual performances and had six of their players named as Pro Bowlers in 2020. Let's take a look at the top 10 Cowboys for this year's edition of Madden NFL.

10. Chidobe Awuzie (CB, 82)

Cowboys' cornerback Chidobe Awuzie lands at the 10th spot with an 82 overall rating. After starting all 16 games for Dallas last season, the fourth-year player showed some potential and was able to defend a total of 14 passes and had a combined tackle tally of  79. Obviously, Awuzie still has a lot to work on but an 82 overall rating is not half bad.

9. Leighton Vander Esch (LOLB, 83)

Young Idaho linebacker Leighton Vander Esch still manages to get an 83 even if he missed a chunk of last year's regular season with a neck injury. In the nine games he played and started for the Cowboys, he was only available for half of his stellar rookie year's performance. Look for the 24-year old to come back strong this season.

8. Dak Prescott (QB, 84)

Star quarterback Dak Prescott surprisingly sits at the eight spot with just an 84 overall rating. Though the Cowboys were only good for an 8-8 record and missed the playoffs last season, Prescott had himself quite an individual performance and managed to lead the struggling franchise. He was able to tally career highs in yards (4,902) and touchdowns (30). After all the offseason drama surrounding his contract with the Cowboys, Prescott should be locked in to prove that he's more than an 84 and hopefully push for another playoff bid.

7. Gerald McCoy (DT, 85)

Defensive vet Gerald McCoy gets an 85 overall rating, good for 7th best on the Cowboys roster. After spending an entire decade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, McCoy was shipped to the Carolina Panthers where he displayed his defensive prowess last season – averaging 5 sacks in 16 games. He was signed by the Cowboys to a three-year deal this offseason and will be starting his career in Dallas with this 85 overall Madden rating.

6. La'el Collins (RT, 87)

The big guy at the right tackle spot La'el Collins rounds out the bottom half of the Cowboys' Madden ratings. Collins snags an 87 after showing out and starting 15 games for Dallas last season. In his fifth year in Dallas, the 26 year old was able to hold the fort for the Cowboys and prove that he's worth his contract. The Cowboys signed Collins to a five-year extension in September of last year.

5. DeMarcus Lawrence (LE, 89)

After being placed on the Cowboys' franchise tag early last year, DeMarcus Lawrence and the Cowboys agreed to a five-year $105 million contract. That deal made him one of the highest paid defensive ends in the entire league. Though he only had an okay season last year sitting on that huge contract, Lawrence still managed to impress and was rated at an 89 coming into this year's game release.

4. Tyron Smith (LT, 92)

Offensive tackle Tyron Smith is the first Cowboys player to crack 90 for Madden 21. The California native started all 13 games for Dallas at left tackle and earned a PFF grade of 76.6 for the year. Smith's impressive 2019 outing for the Cowboys landed him his seventh straight Pro Bowl appearance since 2013. This 92 overall rating just seems fair if you've been balling like Smith.

3. Ezekiel Elliot (RB, 92)

Three-time Pro Bowler Ezekiel Elliot earned an overall rating of 92 and lands at the number three spot. The running back has been on a tear for the past couple of years and had another stellar season last year for Dallas. The two-time NFL rushing yards leader finished last season with 1,357 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. He also had 54 receptions for 420 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns to boot. There's never been any doubt that he's one of the Cowboys' main offensive weapons.

2. Amari Cooper (WR, 93)

Coming off his first full season with the Cowboys, Amari Cooper snags the second-highest overall rating in the team with a 93. The 26 year old started all 16 games for Dallas last season and tallied a career-best of 1,189 yards and eight touchdowns. The four-time Pro Bowler is critical for the Cowboys the 2019-2020 season and his solid past performances land him a well-deserved superstar Madden rating. Look for Cooper to take full advantage of this rating and come out even stronger in his third year for the Cowboys.

1. Zack Martin (RG, 98)

At the top spot is guard Zack Martin who is currently not only the highest rated Dallas Cowboys star, but also top ten in the entire league in terms of this year's Madden installment. Martin garnered a 98 for his awareness rating and a 95 for his strength rating to boost his overall rating to a 98. Last year's incredible play landed him his sixth Pro Bowl appearance which made him one of only five linesmen in NFL history to make it to the Pro Bowl in their first six seasons. It's definitely no surprise that the Indiana native lands at numero uno.
