The Philadelphia 76ers finally unloaded Ben Simmons in their blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets acquired Simmons, along with Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round draft picks. Meanwhile, the Sixers got star James Harden and Paul Millsap. Regardless of who “won” the trade, the Sixers have the funniest fanbase without a doubt.

Maybe it was because they waited so long and had so much built-up anger and anticipation, but the memes just kept coming. Sixers fans didn't hold back, much like they acted all season, and fired shot after shot at Simmons on his way out the door.

This, Ben Simmons' inability to perform at the free-throw line and the Sixers vs Nets game on March 10 gave fans comedy gold.
