The 2018 NFL season has been entertaining, to say the least. There have been entertaining games, surprising starts on both ends of the spectrum, and some big trades as well. That has led to the belief that this year's NFL trade deadline may end up being the busiest ever.

Already, the NFL has seen the Oakland Raiders rock the league with two major trades. Just ahead of the start of the 2018 season, the Raiders pulled the trigger on a blockbuster deal that sent Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears. On Monday, they decided to trade star wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys.

Looking ahead at the upcoming trade deadline, there are plenty of teams that could be buyers and many that will look to sell their talent for the right price. It is never easy to predict a trade deadline in any sport. That being said, there are a few players who could be on their way out of town if the right offer is made.

Let's go ahead and take a look at 10 potential trades that could be made ahead of the 2018 NFL trade deadline.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars acquire Ryan Fitzpatrick

One team that could use an upgrade at the quarterback position is the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have seen Blake Bortles struggle mightily this season. If they want to go out and acquire a veteran starter, Ryan Fitzpatrick could be a good option. Fitzpatrick had a huge start to the season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and could be available for a very friendly price tag with Jameis Winston back as the starter.

9. Colts make a move for LeSean McCoy

LeSean McCoy, Bills, Redskins

Chris Ballard has been aggressive since becoming the Indianapolis Colts' general manager and acquiring LeSean McCoy would make a lot of sense. Indianapolis would have McCoy for the rest of this season and next year and would take a lot of pressure off of Andrew Luck by acquiring a star running back. Buffalo is in full rebuilding mode and getting some value for McCoy while they can would be a good idea.

8. Eagles finally up their offer for Le'Veon Bell

Over the past few weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles have been rumored to be a potential landing spot for Pittsburgh Steelers star running back Le'Veon Bell.

They are searching for more playmakers ahead of the deadline and have a need for a new running back with Jay Ajayi out for the season. Pittsburgh is happy with the production they have received from James Conner and getting a pick for Bell should be of interest to them.

7. Packers trade for a future Hall of Fame wide receiver

Larry Fitzgerald

Larry Fitzgerald is going to be a Hall of Famer in the future, there are very few who would question that statement. The Green Bay Packers are a team that could use some more offensive firepower for Aaron Rodgers to work with and Fitzgerald would fit that bill. The Arizona Cardinals are rebuilding around Josh Rosen and trading Fitzgerald to give him a chance to compete for one more Super Bowl would be a classy move.

6. Saints beef up their secondary with All-Pro

ClutchPoints recently noted that Cardinals star cornerback Patrick Peterson's cousin stated that the New Orleans Saints would be a good landing spot in a trade for Peterson.

New Orleans is one of the best teams in the NFC once again this season, but beefing up their secondary would be a good idea. As previously mentioned, Arizona is rebuilding and getting draft compensation for Peterson makes perfect sense.

5. Miami Dolphins get a speedy receiver in DeSean Jackson

Next up, the Dolphins have been one of the surprise teams in the AFC so far this season with a 4-3 record. DeSean Jackson would be a great fit in their offense, giving Ryan Tannehill and Brock Osweiler yet another speedy weapon to work with. Tampa Bay could choose to keep Jackson in town, but trading him while his value is at an all-time high could be an option.

4. Panthers trade for a true No. 1 wide receiver

Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers appear to be serious contenders once again in the NFC, but they still could use a true No. 1 receiver.

Demaryius Thomas could be available at the right price and the Panthers should be aggressive in their pursuit of a player like him. The Denver Broncos have loved having Thomas over the years, but John Elway may be open to moving one of his veteran wide receivers.

3. Texans acquire Jared Cook from the Raiders

Oakland has been selling as much of their talent as they can and Jared Cook could be the next man on his way out of town. Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans could use a tight end threat like Cook and trading a mid-round pick for him would be a solid move. Gruden and company need as many picks as they can get, and Cook is without question expendable.

2. The Colts take a chance on DeVante Parker

Indianapolis has made this list for the second time, this time looking for help at the wide receiver position.

T.Y. Hilton is a legitimate star, but outside of him the Colts don't have much to work with. DeVante Parker has been mentioned in trade rumors all season long and the Dolphins would happily part with him for a later-round pick.

1. New York Giants finally get an heir apparent for Eli Manning

Eli Manning has been struggling once again this season, although the team's struggles can not be placed solely on him. New York could find their new quarterback at the trade deadline by making a move for Colts backup Jacoby Brissett. Indianapolis has not been interested in dealing him just yet, but a second round pick might be enough to make them consider a deal now that they have seen Luck back at full health.
