Coming out of the All-Star break, the Philadelphia 76ers have looked like a much different team. Following the mega-deal in the final hours leading up to the trade deadline, James Harden has finally taken the court for his new team. As expected, his presence in the lineup has added an array of new elements to the Sixers.

Here are three early impressions of the new-look Sixers.

3. Three-headed monster

When the Harden trade became official, the first thing everyone brought up was the Sixers' new superstar offensive duo. Joel Embiid and Harden are two elite talents and they complement each other nicely. Despite the minimal preparation time, the two have seamlessly found a way to co-exist at a high level early on. Embiid is still putting up monster lines while Harden has picked his spots, filling up the box score.

While many focus on the play of the two All-Stars, the Sixers offense has quietly turned into a three-headed monster. Since Tyrese Maxey no longer burdens the primary playmaking duties, he can fully lean into his natural scoring nature. The result has been the 21-year-old keeping pace with Embiid and Harden in the scoring department. Maxey has broken the 20-point mark in two games with Harden in the lineup.

Opposing defenses are going to do all they can to slow down the new superstar duo, leaving mismatches for other members of the supporting cast. Maxey has taken full advantage of this, making the Sixers even harder to stop in the process.

2. Life made easier for others

As mentioned above, the addition of Harden has made life easier for other members of the Sixers. Now that another All-Star talent is in the fray, players can slide back into roles they are more comfortable with.

One way Harden has made things much simpler for his new teammates is with his passing. Through two games, his elite facilitation has created a plethora of open looks that guys are not accustomed to seeing. Not only is Harden creating offense for himself, but for those around him as well. Since arriving in Philadelphia, Harden has embraced a leadership role. He is aware of all the talent up and down the roster and wants to help bring the best out of everyone.

Matisse Thybulle has been an early benefactor of Harden's playmaking. Whether in the halfcourt as a cutter or transition baskets, Harden is putting Thybulle in positions to be effective on both ends of the floor.

1. Unstoppable two-man game

By far, the biggest takeaway early on is the cohesion of the team's top talents. Sixers GM Daryl Morey pursued Harden so heavily because of his fit next to Embiid, and the results are speaking for themselves. While they have only played in two games together so far, they have quickly put the league on notice.

Given how talented both players are on the offensive end, the game has become so simple for them. When Harden and Embiid get in the pick-and-roll, it is arguably the most unguardable play in the NBA now. They did this to a high degree against the New York Knicks on Sunday, forcing them to pick their poison.

Early on, many questioned if the two would be able to co-exist, and it only took Embiid and Harden a pair of games to put any doubt to rest. Given how well they are already clicking, there is no telling how lethal they could become after weeks of games.
