The Green Bay Packers Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams was a fantastic performance for this franchise. Green Bay looked solid throughout the entire game, making a case they're the best team in the NFC. We take a look at this Packers-Rams game with some of our Packers Week 12 takeaways in mind.
Green Bay played a fantastic game against the Rams. LA kept it close, but in the end, they couldn't keep up with the Packers. Los Angeles' defense couldn't do anything to slow down Green Bay while Matthew Stafford had another miserable performance.
Even so, the most impressive area of the field for Green Bay was on the offense. The run game was noticeably quiet, but the passing attack was a completely different story. Davante Adams had his way with LA's secondary, while Aaron Rodgers looked like an MVP candidate. With that said, here are three Packers Week 12 takeaways from their game against the Rams.

Packers Week 12 Takeaways
3. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon were less than effective
The rushing attack was essentially irrelevant for the Packers on Sunday. Aaron Jones was eased into a backup role as he's coming back from an injury. Meanwhile, AJ Dillon led the way and was less than efficient with his opportunities. Between the two, Green Bay totaled just 92 rushing yards, with Jones and Dillon averaging 3.5 yards per attempt or less.
Regardless, the Packers got the job done and were able to walk away with the victory. Aaron Jones is bound to bounce back, as Green Bay heads into their bye week. Look for this team to get even better, as they have a list of star players due to return soon.
2. Davante Adams reminds the league he's one of the best in football
It's a difficult matchup for anybody when they go up against Jalen Ramsey and the Rams. However, it seemed Davante Adams had the best of Ramsey more often than not. Adams wound up with 104 receiving yards off of eight receptions. He didn't reel in a touchdown, but Adams played a key role in the Packers' success on Sunday.
We should see Devante Adams continue to play at a high level. He receives a well-deserved break from the season as the Packers enter their bye week. Look for Adams to get back to business in Week 14 and help his team continue to win games.
1. Aaron Rodgers makes a case to be MVP
Aaron Rodgers balled out on Sunday against the Rams, as he led them to a standout win over LA. The Packers star quarterback was able to finish the day with 307 passing yards and three total touchdowns. Los Angeles had no answers for Rodgers, even though he was bothered by his injured toe.
Rodgers recently made the decision to not receive surgery on his toe. The Packers believe he'll have enough time to rest and heal up during the bye week. Green Bay is about to hit their stride and is in line to be the best team in the NFC. If Rodgers continues playing as he has, he should be in the running for MVP at the end of the year.
