In the 50 games Mobley has played for the Cavaliers, the big man is posting 14.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 blocks per contest. And while his offensive box score of -0.8 isn't that notable, the power forward's 1.7 defensive box score is what truly stands out. His contributions on that end of the floor are very important in lifting Cleveland's defensive rating from 114.4 (25th place) last season to 106.5 (4th) this year.
Mobley, along with Allen, make sure Garland and Cleveland's other offensive options can focus on what they do best ā get buckets. In turn, these twin towers help minimize the impact of opposing squads on the defensive end.
