The Denver Broncos are trading wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and a fifth-round pick to the San Francisco 49ers for third and fourth-round picks in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 49ers look like the real deal after a 6-0 start, and now, they are making moves to try and solidify their position as a legitimate contender in the NFC.

Through seven games this season, Sanders has logged 30 catches for 367 yards and a couple of touchdowns.

His production—and the fact that he is even playing at all—is incredible given that he suffered a torn Achilles last December, a historically debilitating injury that generally takes around a year to heal. But Sanders has been available since Week 1 and has continued to be a reliable pass-catcher.

The 32-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Southern Methodist, was originally selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round (82nd pick overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.

He spent the first four years of his career with the Steelers, but he did not truly become a major factor until his third season, when he caught 44 passes for 626 yards and a touchdown.

Sanders then joined the Broncos in 2014, where he broke out with 101 receptions for 1,404 yards and nine scores, making his first Pro Bowl appearance as a result.

The Bellville, Tx. native went on to post three straight 1,000-yard campaigns during his first three seasons in Denver, earning a couple of Pro Bowl selections in the process. He has since declined, but Sanders remains a solid wide out.
