Samuel Speaks Out

The 49ers' all-purpose weapon was asked whether he believes the 49ers have reached their potential or not, in a video shared by NBC Sports on Monday evening.

A mostly relaxed Samuel sounded quite confident heading into Sunday's showdown. He will have his quarterback, Purdy, for this round against the team's toughest NFC competitor.

“I want to see potential two weeks before the playoffs,” one fan said in response.

49ers Tied With Eagles in Points Category

The game is expected to be a shootout because of the 49ers and Eagles' points totals on the season. Each has scored 310 points, second to the Dallas Cowboys among NFL offenses.

The Cowboys currently have 347 points to their name, although Mike McCarthy's team is two games behind the Eagles in the NFC East.

The 49ers are tied with the Detroit Lions in terms of record; both teams are 8-3 on the season, two games behind Philadelphia heading into Sunday.
