San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk suffered a knee injury on Monday night against the Cleveland Browns, but it's not expected to be serious. During the second half, Juszczyk sustained the injury and left the game without returning.

After the game, Kyle Shanahan confirmed that it was a knee sprain, and he would be further evaluated on Tuesday. He also said if it was a close game and the team would have needed him, Juszczyk would have been able to return to the game.

Juszczyk is considered by many the best fullback in the league, and losing him for any amount of time would be a big blow. After he blocked the way for a big Matt Brieda game, the 49ers running back had nothing but praise.

“He’s the best fullback in the NFL. Not only that but he’s one of the best players in the NFL,” Matt Breida said after running for 114 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the victory via the Sacramento Bee. “Hopefully we hear good news about it. So we’re going to be praying for him. Right now it’s tough that he’s injured and he’s hurt.”

Coming into the game, the 49ers had Juszczyk played in 50 percent of the team's offensive snaps, and he is the only fullback on the roster.

If he has to miss any time, that is going to be a big blow for their offense, especially when they have a big showdown coming up on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams on the road.
