George Kittle reveals key to Jimmy Garoppolo, 49ers getting back on track in playoff race

The San Francisco 49ers have turned their season around after a disappointing start to the year.

Jimmy Garoppolo has found some success for the 49ers after there were questions about him being the starting quarterback.

His 49ers teammate, star tight end, George Kittle had some funny comments after San Franciscos win,

“I think Jimmy’s confidence comes from when Jimmy throws me a ball, and it’s contested, and I catch a touchdown,” George Kittle said after the win. “Or when [Brandon] Aiyuk is open in the red zone, Deebo’s [Samuel] running the ball at a high level, and our[49ers] offense is blocking, that’s what gives Jimmy confidence.”

The 49ers still have work to do throughout the last part of the season. If they want to make the playoffs they’re going to need to play perfect football from here on out.

Garoppolo had an impressive game in the 49ers blowout win over the Jaguars. He threw for two touchdowns and was 16-22 for 176 yards in the 49ers 30-10 win.

They have some tough games coming up including the Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennesee Titans, and the Los Angels Rams. It’s going to be tough for the 49ers to make the playoffs but they certainly have the talent to take care of business.

Jimmy Garoppolo will have to do everything he can if he wants to help his team reach the playoffs. The 49ers take on the Vikings on Sunday in a game they can certainly win.
