San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is ready for his bounce-back year. The 49ers were one of the most buzzed-about teams in the league heading into last season, as there was a ton of anticipation for Garoppolo's first full season with the team.

Garoppolo looked excellent and helped the 49ers rattle off five straight wins after getting traded from the Patriots late in the 2017 season, so the excitement was understandable. Unfortunately, Garoppolo tore his ACL after just a few games and missed the rest of the season.

While the team is obviously going to be cautious with their franchise quarterback, Garoppolo said recently that he's ready to go without any restrictions, per Charean Williams of ProFootballTalk.com.

“The rehab process has gone really well. Knock on wood. We haven’t had any setbacks. OTAs went about as well as I could have hoped for and now for training camp hopefully we’ll be full go with team drills and all that stuff. We’re moving in the right direction. We’ve just got to keep going day by day and keep stacking them together. It’s a long process, but we’ve come this far, so why stop now, right?”

“I’m sure hoping so,” Garoppolo said when asked if he'll be a full go for the first day of camp. “The training staff, the coaches, we’ve kind of put together a plan and everything like that. We’ll kind of assess the situation as we get closer to it.”

“I’m good to go. Finally,” he said. Garoppolo is surely anxious to get back on the field and prove to everybody he can deliver on the promise he's shown in the past. The rest of the team is finally healthy as well, so expectations will be high next season. 2019 is a big year for Garoppolo, as well as his head coach Kyle Shanahan, who will be under a lot of pressure to win in his third year.
