The San Francisco 49ers have a tough road matchup on the slate for Week 14, heading to Cincinnati to take on Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Their task in slowing down Burrow and the potent Bengals' offense has just been made even more difficult, however, as the Niners will be without two key members of their defense.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Kyle Shanahan's squad will be without cornerbacks Emmanuel Moseley and Dontae Johnson for Sunday afternoon's clash.
With the 49ers placing Emmanuel Moseley on injured reserve and Dontae Johnson not being with the team in Cincinnati for personal reasons, they will be without two cornerbacks who would have started today against the Bengals. San Francisco shorthanded in the secondary.

The Niners are placing Moseley on Injured Reserve due to a high ankle sprain that he sustained in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks. Johnson, on the other hand, is out this week due to personal reasons.
Moseley has been a key contributor in the Niners' secondary this season, having lined up on 100% of the team's defensive snaps in seven of the 10 games he's played. On the year, Moseley has logged 36 tackles and 10 pass defenses, as well as one fumble recovery.
Johnson has been utilized in more of a reserve role for the Niners but stepped up when Moseley went down with his ankle injury in Week 13 and ended up playing 57% of the team's defensive snaps. He logged five tackles and recovered a fumble in the game.
With the two unavailable for Sunday's battle with the Bengals, increased playtime could be given to the likes of Deommodoe Lenoir, Ambry Thomas, and Saivion Smith, who was just elevated from the practice squad ahead of the game.
At 6-6, the 49ers will be vying for a win to bring them over .500 on the year, but without a couple of important defensive players, they could have their hands full with the Bengals' offense.
