The San Francisco 49ers will be in for the biggest game of their season, and Jimmy Garoppolo will be raring to win his first Super Bowl title. However, Skip Bayless isn't holding his breath on Jimmy GQ staying if he fails to win the Vince Lombardi trophy for the Niners.
The Undisputed host gave his latest hot take on the 49ers QB ahead of their Super Bowl LIV clash against the Kansas City Chiefs. While he sees Garoppolo as a good quarterback, he predicts that the Niners' front office will aim for Tom Brady as a possible replacement for him in the coming offseason.

It would be a weird situation if Garoppolo will once again find himself underneath Brady's shadow. He spent the first couple of years of his NFL journey as his backup at the New England Patriots, so one can only imagine how he will take it if this hot take becomes reality.
Moreover, this insinuates that Brady is indeed on his way out of New England. The six-time Super Bowl champion has been mum about his future after the Patriots' early exit in the playoffs against a surprising Tennessee Titans. If he does leave, the 49ers will be a viable destination due to the level of talent that can be found in the roster.
However, it cannot be denied that Brady was a shell of himself this season. Given his advanced age, it may not be advisable for the front office to tie him down. Meanwhile, Jimmy Garoppolo has shown the team that he has what it takes to lead a football team to the Super Bowl.
It's unlikely that the 49ers will go for Tom Brady, but it does make the narrative for the Super Bowl a lot more interesting. A win in Miami will certainly dispel any thoughts of Brady moving to the Bay Area.
