The San Francisco 49ers made a splash with the acquisition of left tackle Trent Williams this offseason. It seems he has wasted no time in getting well-acquainted with California's many highways.
Williams recently posted a video on his Instagram story clocking 125 MPH in a Ferrari, via TMZ Sports:
While the prospect of a man as large as Williams speeding in a luxury sports car is certainly a sight to behold, it is something that the 49ers hope to never see again. after all, they had given up a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft to bring him in as the cornerstone of their offensive line.
Expectations remain as high as ever in San Francisco coming off their Super Bowl run. The last thing they need is any further setbacks to Williams following an unprecedented offseason due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
