Los Angeles Clippers swingman Kawhi Leonard is indeed the best two-way superstar in the league right now.

His stock has considerably risen in recent years, as the 28-year-old forward has already two NBA titles, two Finals MVPs, and four All-Star appearances under his belt.

The Klaw is enjoying a remarkable first season in LA, tallying  26.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.8 steals in 51 appearances, prior to the suspension of the 2019-20 campaign.

Now that the world sees what a “fun guy” Kawhi truly is, his popularity has skyrocketed even more. The 6-foot-7 megastar has already suited for three NBA teams and has worn a lot of jerseys in his 9-year career.

While most of those uniforms are rather forgettable, some fit Leonard to a tee. Let’s rank five of the best jerseys Leonard wore throughout his basketball career.

5. San Diego state uniform

Before going pro in 2011, Leonard paid his dues in the collegiate circuit for the Aztecs. The Klaw donned the number 15 jersey for head coach Brian Dutcher for two seasons from 2009-11.

The team paraded their classic Scarlet and Black colors — which would prove to be a foreshadowing of some sort for Leonard’s two championship teams in the NBA.

While the plain design of the jerseys weren’t necessarily eye-catching, it did capture Leonard’s rather underrated talent back then. Before becoming the two-way monster that he is now, Kawhi was viewed simply as a defensive stopper when he entered the draft.

4. 2020 NBA All-Star game jersey

Leonard suited up for Team LeBron in the most recent All-Star game at the United Center in Chicago last February. The color blue does suit Kawhi real well, as he rocked the uni’s straightforward design with pride.

While he definitely wore better-looking All-Star game jerseys in the past, this one was no doubt the most memorable one for Leonard. He stood out as the brightest star that night, earning his first-ever Kia Kobe Bryant All-Star game MVP after dropping 30 points built on eight 3-pointers.

3. Spurs’ military-inspired camo jerseys (2013)

The Spurs’ black and silver jerseys remained unchanged for decades and was Leonard’s garb of choice in his early years. While their original uniforms arguably boast one of the most boring designs out there, the Spurs rolled out a fantastic alternate in the 2013 season.

Apart from paying homage to the troops, the camouflage jerseys also gave the Spurs players some style points that they’ve been lacking for years. Leonard donned the sleeved jerseys in his third season, which also marked his first Finals appearance.

2. 2020 Clippers City Edition jersey

Fans are now accustomed to seeing Leonard in Clippers colors, but there’s one jersey that seems tailor-fit for Leonard’s gritty game. The team brought out a slick city edition uniform this year, which mostly received positive reviews.

The elegant white ensemble boasted black trimmings on the side, while the text fully embraced the authentic spirit of the city’s street culture. The graffiti-inspired logo was drawn by legendary artist Mr. Cartoon himself.

Leonard, a Los Angeles native, was taken back to his roots each time he donned the special uniform.

1. Raptors “We The North” jerseys

In his lone year in Canada, Leonard did the unthinkable by leading the Raptors to the franchise’s only NBA title last year. His short but rather sweet stay in Toronto yielded plenty of memorable moments. Fans were used to seeing Leonard rock dark jerseys, so watching him play in the Raps’ bold colors took some adjustment at first.

Leonard played like a man on a mission for Toronto.  He certainly looked good while doing so, especially with the team’s “We The North” uniforms. The white and red versions were similar to Leonard’s attire during his San Diego days. However, it was the black and gold road jerseys that looked best on Kawhi as he took the Raps to new heights.
