Likely drawing inspiration from a corn maze created in honor of Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, R & J Farmers in Souderton, Pennsylvania is showing they too “trust the process.”

Owners Rich and Jill Alterman decided to do a Philadelphia 76ers-themed corn maze this year, making it the 11th straight year making a corn maze, according to CBS Philly.

The phrase originated years ago from former general manager Sam Hinkie and his model of patience while stockpiling high picks, which turned into the likes of Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor, Ben Simmons, and most-recently point guard Markelle Fultz.

This particular corn maze is comprised of a six-acre corn field, taking a total of 12 hours over three days to come to fruition. Rich Alterman first designed it over graph paper and began cutting out the maze in July with only a lawnmower while the corn stalks were only as tall as six inches.

Since corn only grows either vertically or horizontally, he alternated between the two options to be able to make 90-degree turns while cutting, rounding out the letters and logo.

Alterman now plans to open the maze between the last week of September and the first week of October, letting his fellow Sixers fans be part of the process as well.
