Kaitlyn Michelle “Amouranth” Siragusa was the #1 female streamer of 2021. Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter comes in a close second and VTuber Usada Pekora clocked in at third.

According to StreamHatchet's report, Amouranth was the leading female streamer for 2021, with almost 39 million hours of watch time on her Twitch channel. Amouranth mostly does ASMR streams, or Twitch's newly added Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches category of streams.

Valkyrae, co-owner of esports organization and apparel company 100 Thieves, finished the year with 30.6 million watch hours. Valkyrae was 2020's top female streamer, but Amouranth has now surpassed her, with Valkyrae lagging behind by 8.2 million watch hours. Valkyrae regularly produces gaming content, with occasional vlog-type videos on her YouTube channel.

The recent boom of “Virtual YouTubers” is also evident in StreamHatchet's report, as Japanese VTuber Usada Pekora was the third most watched female streamer worldwide, with almost 27 million watch hours. Pekora's content mostly consist of regular gaming streams on her YouTube channel which has amassed a dedicated viewer base of almost two million subscribers.

Amouranth as the most watched female streamer, ranks #46 most watched overall. Comparing this to Valkyrae (2020's #1) ranking #63 in 2020, women in gaming continue to close the gap. This report included Facebook Gaming, Twitch, and YouTube Gaming.
