The Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners were involved in an instant-classic brawl over the weekend, that saw as many as eight players and coaches ejected, and 12 individuals subsequently suspended. In addition to the suspensions, however, it appears one Angels player sustained a serious injury in the fracas. While it wasn't courtesy of an angry Mariners player, reliever Archie Bradley exited the chaos worse for the wear, having picked up an elbow injury.

On Tuesday, the Angels placed Bradley on the IL and revealed he's expected to miss 1-2 months while recovering from a fractured elbow. The kicker here is that Bradley sustained the elbow fracture while falling over the railing of the dugout while attempting to get involved in the fight, according to Erica Weston of Bally Sports West.

Videos of the fight have made the rounds all over social media, and many fans picked up on Bradley taking an unfortunate fall over the railing of the dugout before the two teams clashed in a sea of opposing jerseys. While Bradley still ran over and got in the faces of various Angels players, it seems he was doing so while in significant pain, unless the adrenaline was masking it.

After his embarrassing fall, Bradley will be placed on the IL and isn't expected to resume throwing for at least a month, meaning it'll be even longer until he's able to return to action for the Angels.

Only a few weeks ago, Cubs infielder Jonathan Villar suffered an oral injury courtesy of an exercise band. Now, Bradley has quickly dethroned him for the strangest injury of the season, as his own clumsiness is potentially costing him two months of the season.
