The Genesis Throwback event for Apex Legends is almost over. But don't worry, it looks like we're already getting a new event fresh from Respawn's oven. The Thrillseekers event brings a brand new map to Arenas Mode along with new limited-time cosmetics.

Players will once again have to say goodbye to the legacy versions of World's Edge and King's Canyon. However, they can rest assured that Overflow, the brand new map for Arenas mode, will surely make up for it. Although Apex Legends has been putting in new stages for Arenas, all of them were directly inspired by the game's Battle Royale mode. Overflow, on the other hand, will be an original stage that's just as fiery as the characters within the game.

Overflow consists of long, dam-like industrial structures and short sightlines that'll make it harder to determine where the other team is sneaking around. And just in case you fancy playing a little bit of “the floor is lava”, Respawn went ahead and flooded the map with hot magma.

The event also brings in a barrage of new limited-time cosmetics. Including a sad clown cowboy suit for Mirage and a new Revenant skin resembling a mix of Voltorb and General Grievous.

Respawn has once again outdone themselves and it's no surprise. Even though Apex Legends was recently attacked by Titanfall hackers, it's clear that the developers won't stop improving the game.

The Thrillseekers event will go live from July 13 through August 3. Hopefully we have a better picture of what awaits us in Apex Legends Season 10.
