Gavi’s current deal with Barcelona, which contains a buyout clause set at €50 million is set to expire in June 2023. The report said that the Catalans plan wants to extend it until 2026 and increase his buyout clause to a whopping €500 million which is in line with other youngsters such as Nico Gonzalez and Alejandro Balde.

FIFA rules state that minors can’t renew contracts for more than three years.
