The Chicago Bears suffered a disappointing late defeat against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, another disastrous result in what has been a difficult season in the Windy City. After the game, fans at Soldier Field could be heard chanting “Fire Matt Nagy!” and it appears they may not be alone in that sentiment.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Matt Nagy has lost the Bears locker room and a number of players apparently want to see the head coach fired. Schultz added, however, that one sticking point for Nagy to hang onto his job until the end of the season is that the Bears have never fired a head coach during the regular season throughout the franchise's 101-year history.

Schultz claims that Nagy had lost the faith of many Bears players last year, but claims the locker room has officially turned on him following Sunday's loss. If that's truly the case, it seems like it's only a matter of time until Nagy is shown the exit door.

Nagy has failed to get much of anything out of  Justin Fields, who has four touchdown passes and eight interceptions on the year. The rookie quarterback suffered a ribs injury in the loss to the Ravens and his status is up in the air heading into Week 12. It seems Nagy's status as Bears head coach may also soon be up in the air.

The Bears are 3-7 on the year and have lost five games in a row. Across four years at the helm in Chicago, Nagy has a 31-28 record and has lost in both of his playoff appearances as the team's head coach.
