One of the things that never gets old is seeing athletes surprising their parents with houses or cars. Most recently, Mike Davis of the Chicago Bears surprised his mom with a house.

It's nice to see athletes showing their appreciation to their parents in the form of a house or car. To some, it may seem kind of corny or unoriginal but the meaning behind it is pure.

For the majority of athletes, they wouldn't be in the position that they are in without their parents. Getting them a house allows the athlete to pay back their parents for all of the sacrifices and hard work they did along the way.

Also, it shows that their child was able to work hard for something and use their money for good. Family is everything to a ton of athletes and it seems like that is true when it comes to Mike Davis.

Davis signed with the Chicago Bears this offseason after spending his last two seasons in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks. Before that, he played two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Bears running back signed a two-year, $6 million deal with Chicago. That was enough for the running back to repay his mom for all of the sacrifices she's made to help him get where he is.

In the video, you see Davis and his mom have an emotional moment where they are hugging after she finds out the house is hers.

His mom is crying but the moment is a joyous one—seeing her son in a position to be able to buy her a whole new house.
